What Teksi is

Teksi provides apps that connect riders with independent drivers, and renters with rental companies. Drivers and rental companies are not employees of Teksi; they are responsible for their vehicles, their licences and the service they give.

Your account

• Give your real name and a phone number you use.
• Keep your account to yourself; you are responsible for what is done with it.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk.

Prices and payment

• The rider's price follows the rule shown in the app and on this site: ⁦100 ؋⁩ for the first 5 km, then ⁦20 ؋⁩ a kilometre, rounded to ⁦5 ؋⁩.
• A driver may ask for at most 30% more; the rider decides.
• Rides are paid in cash to the driver at the end of the trip, at the agreed price.
• Rentals are paid to the rental company as shown in the booking, under the company's own terms.

Rules for everyone

• Treat others with respect. No violence, threats, harassment or discrimination.
• Do not use Teksi for anything illegal.
• Drivers must hold a valid driving licence, drive a roadworthy vehicle and follow traffic law.
• Rental companies must own or be allowed to rent out the cars they list, and honour confirmed bookings.

Cancellations

Riders and drivers can cancel a ride in the app until the trip starts. Rental cancellations follow the rental company's terms, shown before you book.

Reports

Report a problem from the ride in the app. We look into reports and may suspend accounts while we do. In an emergency, contact the police first.

Responsibility

We work to keep Teksi available and accurate, but we cannot promise that it is never interrupted, or that a driver or car is always available. To the extent the law allows, Teksi is not responsible for the acts of drivers, riders or rental companies.
